The role of the judges/panellists is to ask questions about the business model and to make useful comments that help the presenters (and the audience) to:

• refine their strategic thinking;
• consider new ideas and contacts that may be helpful;
• improve their elevator pitch.

The main benefits for participants are education, promotion and - hopefully - entertainment.
