Speakers

Anthony (Tony) Drury
Tony is a past director of a number of PLUS Markets and AIM-listed companies. He founded St Helen’s Capital Plc in 1998 and built it into the leading PLUS market corporate advisory firm, acting for some of the most successful PLUS-quoted companies including Ashpool Telecom Plc and Espro Information Technologies Limited, the first Israeli company to join PLUS. In 2006 he led the £2.8 million fund-raising for Quercus Publishing Plc. He completed the Chairmanship of St Helen’s Capital Plc in June 2006 and is curently UK Chairman of Sunrise Biotech Holding - a Chinese based producer of mulberry leaf products and the largest Chinese company on the PLUS Market. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) and a Member of the Securities Institute (MSI). He is the author of a number of finance books including 'Investment Clubs: the low risk way to stockmarket profits'; ‘The St Helen’s Guide to the Ofex Market’ (now the PLUS market).

Nigel Gordon
Nigel is a Partner, in the Corporate / Commercial at Fasken Martineau LLP. Nigel's practice focuses on capital markets and a combination of capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. He also regularly represents entrepreneurial growing companies, both public and private. Nigel has been actively involved in the AIM Market since its inception in 1995, and has acted as company secretary to a number of listed and AIM companies, including The Evolution Group (an investment bank listed on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority). More...

Ash Mehta
Ash is Chief Executive, Orchard Growth Partners. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG London, and has worked in finance and commercial roles for Eli Lilly, and Parexel International, a NASDAQ-quoted services company. He has also been FD and Stategy Director of growth companies both Full-listed and AIM-listed, including Ultrasis plc and Raft International plc. He currently sits on the Executive Committee of the Quoted Companies Alliance, and on the board of Northbridge, an AIM-listed industrial services company. More...
