Expertise	Chris heads the BDO LLP Corporate Finance Department’s Technical and Prospectus Committees. He also chairs the Technical Committee of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a member of the Faculty’s Executive Board. He sits on the Markets and Regulations Committee of the Quoted Companies Alliance.
Experience	Chris Searle specialises in Transaction Services work involving due diligence on acquisitions and reporting accountant work on flotations and subsequent transactions. He has specialised in this type of work for over 20 years during which time he has worked on over 80 flotations and similar transactions, most of them on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. In undertaking such work, he has worked with companies of all sizes in a wide range of sectors. A key aspect of this work includes the assessment of whether a company is suitable to float, especially in terms of its business and infrastructure, including its accounting systems and controls.
